The mission of the church is to share the
loving Gospel of Jesus Christ with every soul. The mission of the
Hispanic/Latino Ministries Committee begins by reaching out to the
least, the last, and the lost around our Conference. Jesus’ Great
Commission makes it clear that our responsibility is not just to our own
Conference needs, but extends to all nations and people groups around
the world (Matthew 28:19.)
As a result of the commission Jesus gave,
the Hispanic/Latino Ministries committee approved with great joy, and
challenged the members, to extend the ministry further than our national
borders. This outreach results in reaching brothers and sisters in
other Conferences, especially our Methodist brothers and sisters in
Argentina and Peru. The approval of specific
projects gives us a bond where we can build bridges in unity and love in ministry for the
Lord and His Kingdom.
This year we continue to expand our global outreach to Costa Rica,
as we will send several members of our committee on a VIM
(Volunteers-In-Mission) mission trip. This trip is organized by
Aldersgate UMC in Abilene,Texas.
Through this web page we would like to encourage all churches, pastors,
leaders, and congregations in the NWTX Annual Conference to become a
part of these projects and outreach efforts for the Kingdom of God.
Your involvement could be a direct contribution or through the
Hispanic/Latino Ministries Committee.

feet of those who bring good news of peace and salvation, the news that
the God of Israel reigns!” Isaiah 52:7
